On behalf of the 12 students who are graduating from our high school mentoring program and becoming scholars in our college scholarship program at our annual awards dinner on June 2nd, we would like to give a special "Thank you" to our Strategic Advisor and Mentor Stephen J. Perry for contributing $1,000 to the Daniel Trust Foundation in support of the 4th Annual Daniel Trust Awards. A retired executive at Xerox Corporation, Stephen is now Director of Solutions 2442, an organization that provides pro-bono consulting to community non-profit organizations in Fairfield County. Stephen's projects focus on planning, strategy, marketing and brand. For his work with the Daniel Trust Foundation, Stephen was honored as a News 12 Connecticut Hometown Hero in 2016. Since 2015, Stephen has been one of our biggest supporters and ambassadors. "Stephen holds a special place in my heart. I don't know what I would do without his mentorship, support and advocacy," said Daniel Trust, Founder and CEO of The Daniel Trust Foundation. "I am very thankful for everything he has done to help me and the Foundation grow in the past two years." This contribution will be used to support students in our college scholarship program. Once students graduate from our high school mentoring program, they receive a $2,000 scholarship ($500 per year for 4 years) to help them pay for their college textbooks and other related college expenses.
