Retired Community Foundation Executive Fiona K. Hodgson contributes $1,000 to support the 4th Annual
The Daniel Trust Foundation is pleased to announce that Fiona K. Hodgson, a retired Community Foundation Executive, has contributed $1,000 to the Daniel Trust Foundation in support of the 4th Annual Daniel Trust Awards, which will be hosted at the Holiday Inn in Bridgeport, Connecticut on June 2, 2017. As Vice President of Development and Marketing at the Fairfield County's Community Foundation, the largest Community Foundation in Fairfield County, CT with assets over $180 million, Fiona was responsible for all private fundraising, establishment of donor advised funds, communications and marketing. "Over the years, Fiona has become a really good friend and a trusted advisor. She truly holds a special place in my heart," said Daniel Trust Founder and CEO of The Daniel Trust Foundation. "I am so thankful to Fiona for this generous gift and for volunteering her time, skills, and talent as a member of The Daniel Trust Foundation Advisory Board." This contribution will be used to support students in our college scholarship program. Once students graduate from our high school mentoring program, they receive a $2,000 scholarship ($500 per year for 4 years) to help them pay for their college textbooks and other related college expenses.
