The Daniel Trust Foundation is pleased to announce that Technology Executive and Philanthropist Oni Chukwu has contributed $5,000 to The Daniel Trust Foundation through The AfricaPlan Foundation, his family's Foundation, in support of the 4th Annual Daniel Trust Awards, which will be hosted on Friday, June 2 at the Holiday Inn in Bridgeport, Connecticut. "Oh My God... I can't believe this is happening.... The amount of support and love the Daniel Trust Foundation has been getting lately is unbelievable," said Daniel Trust, Founder and CEO of The Daniel Trust Foundation. "I have so much love for Oni and Leslie, his wife. On behalf of the 12 students who are graduating from our high school mentoring program and becoming scholars in our college scholarship program at the 4th Annual Daniel Trust Awards, I want to sincerely thank The Chukwu Family for their friendship, support and for this generous gift."
The AfricaPlan Foundation aims to foster the entrepreneurial spirit by providing financial support and business advice to startups around the world. "The AfricaPlan Foundation is proud of the work The Daniel Trust Foundation is doing with less privileged youth in Bridgeport to show them a path to a great future." Said Oni Chukwu, President of The AfricaPlan Foundation. This generous gift from Oni's family Foundation will be used to support students in our college scholarship program. Once students graduate from our high school mentoring program, they become scholars in our college scholarship program where they receive continued mentorship and a $2,000 scholarship ($500 per year for 4 years) to help them pay for their college textbooks and other related college expenses.
