Daniel Trust accepts the grant from Debbie Clancy, Treasurer of the Fairfield Rotary Club.
Daniel Trust Foundation, an award-winning youth development nonprofit organization that invests in and supports low-income students with their educational and professional goals, is pleased to announce that it has received a $1,450 grant from the Fairfield Rotary Club. Our entire team at Daniel Trust Foundation would like to sincerely thank the Fairfield Rotary Club for this generous grant and to Marje Tracy, a member of the club, for sponsoring our grant application.
Every year the Fairfield Rotary Club supports worthwhile initiatives in the community by offering grants to local nonprofits. In the spirit of putting “Service Above Self,” the Fairfield Rotary Club has donated more than $360,000 to numerous community nonprofit organizations since 1990.
“Without assistance and opportunity, many very talented and intelligent children from Bridgeport do not realize what possibilities are available to them as well as how to succeed in the process of advancing their education,” said Marje Tracy in her sponsorship letter to the grants committee. “The Daniel Trust Foundation guides students through this labyrinth. Their College Scholarship Program also provides much needed money.”
Daniel Trust Foundation accepted the grant from the Fairfield Rotary Club at the club’s annual luncheon held at Gaelic-American Club in Fairfield, Connecticut on Monday, November 27, 2017, where other community nonprofit organizations were also recognized including our friends at Cardinal Shehan Center and Connecticut Institute for Refugees and Immigrants. “It is such an honor to accept this grant on behalf of all the students who benefit from our programs and services at the Foundation,” said Daniel Trust, President and CEO of Daniel Trust Foundation. “I am so thankful to Marje Tracy for reaching out to us and offering to sponsor our application.”
