Daniel Trust Foundation, an award-winning youth development nonprofit organization with offices in Bridgeport, Connecticut and New York City, is pleased to announce that it has received a very generous grant from The Westport Sunrise Rotary Club. The grant will be used to support the Foundation’s programs and services in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
This grant would not have been possible without the recommendation of Ellen Spear, a member of Daniel Trust Foundation’s Advisory Board, Monthly Giving Program and a Scholarship Sponsor at The 5th Annual Daniel Trust Awards. A longtime volunteer and investor in the mission and vision of Daniel Trust Foundation, Ellen recommended the Foundation’s President and CEO Daniel Trust apply for the grant after she saw that The Westport Sunrise Rotary Club was accepting grant applications in the local newspaper earlier this year.
“I would like to sincerely thank all members of The Westport Sunrise Rotary Club for this generous grant and Ellen Spear for recommending I apply for it,” said Daniel Trust, President and CEO of Daniel Trust Foundation. “This grant will make a big impact in the lives of the students and teachers who are benefiting from the Foundation’s programs and services this year.”
