Social entrepreneur Daniel Trust is launching #AskDanielTrust, a weekly column and vlog, for young people

July 22, 2020

Daniel Trust, an award-winning social entrepreneur, motivational speaker and youth advocate, will launch #AskDanielTrust, a weekly column and vlog, where young people from around the world can ask him questions and for advice on life, mentorship, scholarships, college, careers and everything else in between.

#AskDanielTrust will premiere on Monday, August 3, 2020.

“I’ve always dreamed of writing an advice column for young people and producing videos to go along with it,” said Daniel Trust, President and CEO of Daniel Trust Foundation. “Creating #AskDanielTrust will give me the opportunity to help and bring value to young people all over the world.”

Daniel Trust first announced the launch of #AskDanielTrust on his Instagram. In the post, Mr. Trust invited young people to submit their questions.

“As someone who is familiar with my story and work, do you have a question you’d like me to answer in the 1st #AskDanielTrust article and video?” Mr. Trust asked. “Your question can be about any topic you need help with OR another topic you believe can bring value to young people like you around the world.”

21 young people from the United States and Rwanda have already submitted their questions on Instagram for Mr. Trust to consider. The weekly articles and videos that Daniel Trust writes and produces for #AskDanielTrust will be published on Daniel Trust Foundation’s blog and YouTube.

Daniel Trust will reward young people who ask him a question.

“To make this fun and philanthropic, I want to reward the young people who take the time out of their busy schedule to ask me a question,” Mr. Trust said. “For the next 10 weeks, the young person who asks me a question and I select to answer that question, will receive $100. I am committed to invest $1,000 in 10 young people who ask me great questions.”
