Award-winning athlete and SCSU Track & Field star Sachin Manning has obtained his Marketing degree
Daniel Trust Foundation is pleased to announce that Sachin Manning, an Alumni of our College Scholarship Program, has graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
It has been an honor to witness Sachin’s growth and success over the years.
Sachin joined our High School Mentoring Program in 2015 and was profiled in TRUST, an award-winning film that highlights the power of mentorship.
After graduating from Bassick High School, Sachin received an athletic scholarship to run track & field at Southern Connecticut State University.
As track & field star at SCSU, Sachin served as team captain and won numerous awards, which include Two-time New England Outdoor 4x400-Meter Relay Champion (2018, 2021), One-time Northeast 10 Outdoor 400-Meter Hurdles Conference Champion (2021) and Two-time USTFCCCA Outdoor All-Region East Performer (2018, 2019).
This weekend, Sachin will be competing in the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Allendale, Michigan at the Grand Valley State Track & Field Stadium.
"This is like the end of the track season and it's my first time making it this far," Sachin said.
Sachin hopes to end this track season and his college athletic career on a high note by winning a few more awards at the championship in Michigan.
The leadership team at Daniel Trust Foundation is very proud of Sachin.
