If you had told me a month ago that I would be sharing this great news with my friends and members of the Daniel Trust Foundation community, I would have said, “stop, it’s not possible.”

It’s been 9 years since I completed my undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. After graduation, I told myself that I had had enough of school and I would never pursue a graduate degree. But guess what? I was wrong.

It’s with great honor that I share with you that I have been accepted into the C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston and I will be pursuing a Master of Science in Marketing at the school this Fall. I start classes in about 2 weeks. Can you believe it?

Life works in mysterious ways that I don’t understand sometimes.

So, why pursue a Master of Science in Marketing you ask? To be honest, there are a lot of reasons that inspired me to apply, but let me focus on the positive ones. I have big dreams for my future and I want to take my foundation and philanthropic work to the next level. I want to learn new skills in sales, digital marketing, communications, fundraising and create a new network of friends and supporters.

Pursuing this advanced degree is going to be expensive. OMG!

The University of Houston will offer me financial aid in the form of federal student loans, grants and scholarships, but the aid will not be sufficient to cover the full costs of the program.

As many of you know, I don’t have parents or many family members that I can ask for help with paying for my education/career development and growth.

Everything I have done and accomplished up to this point has been made possible by kind and generous friends like you who have become part of my family.

With that said, I would like to ask you for financial support to help me cover expenses associated with obtaining my Master of Science in Marketing degree.

For your convenience, here are suggested donation amounts:

$1,000—This will help cover accommodation expenses.

$500—This will help cover transportation expenses.

$250—This will help cover food and utility expenses.

$100—This will help cover college textbooks expenses.

The best way to send funds is through Zelle, Venmo or CashApp.

However, if you’d like to make a donation to Daniel Trust Foundation to support my work and to celebrate this exciting new journey, please do so by clicking here.

Please know that I do not take your support for granted. I thank you in advance for helping me pay for my Master of Science in Marketing degree and I promise you that I will continue to work hard until I accomplish my goals and dreams while also giving back and uplifting others.

I am so excited and very much look forward to being a member of the University of Houston community. I cannot wait to see what the future holds.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you!
